You take the helm. Extensive sailing experience necessary, or add a captain or instruction with advance notice.

Day sails to full weeks

8 hour day sails, 2 day and 2.5 day packages, plus weekend, midweek and full week rates.

Nine by day, seven overnight

Comfortable cockpit seating, a full galley, hot and cold water, bathroom with shower and a deck shower aft.

Romantic escapes, team days and birthdays

Sha Meduza suits the days that matter for smaller groups, up to nine guests with a skipper. Tell us what you have in mind and we will help you shape it.

Romantic Escapes

A proposal, an anniversary or a quiet day for two. Sha Meduza is ideal for couples and small groups, with sheltered bays only minutes from Newport and an overnight stay for up to seven if you want to make a night of it. She is a cruising yacht rather than a function venue, so there is no open deck space for a ceremony.

Team Days and Corporate

Get a small team off site and onto the water. A day of sailing, swimming and a long lunch at anchor does more for team bonding than any boardroom. The cockpit seats eight comfortably underway and we can take nine guests for the day with Paul aboard as skipper.

Birthdays and Small Celebrations

Birthdays, reunions and engagements for groups of nine or fewer. BYO food and drinks, pick your bay, and finish the day at the famous Newport Hotel with live music and a Pittwater sunset. Larger Christmas parties are usually too big for her, so tell us your numbers early and we will let you know honestly if she suits.

Best birthday weekend ever!

We did a bareboat charter on Paul's Hunter 38 for the weekend and it was the most wonderful experience and fabulous birthday celebration! The boat is beautifully kept and Paul was very helpful and friendly. The weather and sailing conditions were perfect. Anchoring off pretty beaches and taking the rowing boat to shore was also lots of fun!
